Hong Kong Employment Development Service (EDS) is a non-government organization under section 88 of the Non-Profit and Inland Revenue Ordinance. We committed to providing professional Employment Counseling and Training Services to the disadvantaged job seekers.
With the assistance of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), EDS was set up in mid-2002. EDS has been taking over gradually the management and service units of the Employment Service of HKCSS since April 2003.

EDS extended its services for disadvantaged group of job seekers , such as youth with special educational need, middle-aged, new arrivals, single parents, ethnic minorities, unemployed persons receiving CSSA, elderlies etc.,

- To provide quality employment counselling, job matching and placement service and training programmes;
- To recommend suitable employees to employers of different trades and industries;
- To offer consultancy service on developing human resources in different trades and industries.
